The TPS6125x device providesa power supply
solution for battery-powered portable applications.
Intended for low-power applications, the TPS6125x
supports upto 800-mA load current froma battery
dischargedas lowas 2.65V and allows the useof low
cost chip inductor and capacitors.
Witha wide input voltage rangeof 2.3Vto 5.5V, the
device supports applications powered by Li-Ion
batteries with extended voltage range. Different fixed are available from 3.15Vtoat the input voltage level.In this synchronous rectifieris current limited load (e.g. audio amplifier) to bea restricted supply.In this mode, the
quiescent current is reduced to 21 µA. During
shutdown, the loadis completely disconnected from
the battery. Input currentin shutdown modeis less
than1 µA (typ), which maximizes battery life.
The TPS6125x offersa very small solution size due minimum amountof external components.It allows
the useof small inductors and input capacitorsto
achievea small solution size.
