General DescriptionThe TP3076is asecond-generation combined PCM CODEC
and Filter devices optimizedfor digital switching applications subscriberline andtrunk cardsand digital phone applica-
tions. Using advanced switched capacitor techniques,
COMBOII combines transmit bandpass and receive low-
pass channel filters witha companding PCM encoderand
decoder. The devicesare A-law and μ-law selectable and
employ aconventional serial PCM interfacecapableof being
clockedupto 4.096 MHz.A numberof programmable func-
tions maybe controlledviaa serial control port.
Channel gainsare programmable overa 25.4dB rangein
each direction. enableCOMBOIIto interfacetothe SLIC control leads,a
numberof programmablelatchesareincluded; each maybe
configuredas eitheran inputoran output.The TP3076pro-
vides4 latches.
