The 'LVT162245A devices are 16-bit (dual-octal) noninverting 3-state transceivers designed for low-voltage
(3.3-V) VCC operation, but with the capabilitya TTL interfacetoa 5-V system
These devices are designed for asynchronous between two data buses. logic levelsof the
direction-control (DIR) input and the output-enable (OE) input activate either the B-portor the A-port
outputsor place both output ports into the high-impedance mode. The device transmits from theA busto
theB bus when the B-port outputs are activated, and from theB busto theA bus when A-port outputs are
activated. The input circuitryon bothA andis always active and must havea logic HIGHor LOW level
appliedto prevent excess ICC and ICCZ.
The A-port outputs, which are designedto sourceor sink upto12 mA, include equivalent 22-Ω series resistors reduce overshoot and undershoot.
When VCCis between0 and 1.5V, the devicesin the high-impedance state during powerupor power down.
