DESCRIPTION

The ’AHCT541 octal buffers/drivers are ideal for
driving bus linesor buffer memory address registers.
These devices feature inputs and outputson opposite
sidesof the packageto facilitate printed circuit board
layout.
The 3-state control gateisa 2-input AND gate with
active-low inputs so thatif either output-enable (OE1 OE2) inputis high,all corresponding outputs arein
the high-impedance state. The outputs provide non-
inverted data when they are not in the high-
impedance state. ensure the high-impedance state during power up power down, OE should be tiedto VCC througha
pullup resistor; the minimum valueof the resistoris
determined by the current-sinking capability of the
driver.
