General Description
The MM54C373/MM74C373, MM54C374/MM74C374are
integrated, complementary MOS (CMOS), 8-bit storageele-
ments with TRI-STATE outputs. These outputs have been
specially designedto drive high capacitive loads, suchas
one mightfind when drivinga bus,andto have afanoutof1
when driving standard TTL. Whena high logic levelisap-
pliedtothe OUTPUT DISABLE input, alloutputsgoto ahigh
impedance state, regardlessof what signalsare presentat
the other inputsandthe stateofthe storage elements.
The MM54C373/MM74C373isan 8-bit latch. When LATCH
ENABLEis high,theQ outputswill followtheD inputs.
When LATCH ENABLE goes low, dataattheD inputs,
which meetsthe set-upand hold time requirements,willbe
retainedatthe outputs until LATCH ENABLE returns high
again.
The MM54C374/MM74C374isan 8-bit, D-type, positive-
edge triggered flip-flop. DataattheD inputs, meetingthe
set-upand hold time requirements,is transferredtotheQ
outputson positive-going transitionsofthe CLOCK input.
Both the MM54C373/MM74C373 andthe MM54C374/
MM74C374are being assembledin 20-pin dual-in-line pack-
ages with 0.300×pin centers.
