General Description

The LP3990 regulatoris designedto meetthe requirements portable, battery-powered systems providingan accurate
output voltage, low noise, and low quiescent current. The
LP3990will providea 0.8V output fromthe low input voltage 2Vatupto 150mA load current. When switched into
shutdown mode viaa logic signalat the enable pin, the
power consumptionis reducedto virtually zero.
The LP3990is designedtobe stable with space saving
ceramic capacitorsas smallas 1.0µF.
Performanceis specifiedfora -40˚Cto 125˚C junction tem-
perature range.
For output voltages other than 0.8V, 1.35V, 1.5V, 1.8V, 2.5V,
2.8V,or 3.3V please contact your local NSC sales office.
