General Description
The LMF90isa fourth-order elliptic notch (band-reject) filter
basedon switched-capacitor techniques.No external com-
ponentsare neededto definethe response function. The
depthofthe notchisset usinga two-level logic input,and
the widthis programmedusing athree-level logicinput. Two
different notch depths and three different ratiosof notch
widthto center frequency maybe programmedby connect-
ing these pinstoVa, ground,orVb. Another three-level
logicpin setsthe ratioof clock frequencyto notch frequen-
cy. internalcrystaloscillatoris provided.Usedin conjunction
witha low-cost colorTV crystalandthe internal clockfre-
quency divider,a notch filter canbe built with centerfre-
quencyat50Hz,60Hz,100Hz,120Hz,150Hz,or180Hz
forrejectionof power lineinterference.Several LMF90scan operated froma single crystal.An additional inputispro-
videdforan externally-generated clock signal.
