DESCRIPTION

The L2750isa new technology class AB dual
power operational amplifier assembledin Multi-
watt11 package.
Thanksto the fully complementary PNP/NPN out-
put configuration the L2750 can delivera rail-to-
rail output voltage swing evenat the highest cur-
rent.
Additional featureis the very low current Stand- function.
The high application flexibilityof the L2750 makes
the device suitablefor either motor driving/control
and audio applications purposes.

APPLICATION SUGGESTION
The high flexibility makes the L2750 suitablefora
wide rangeof applications.
Motor Controller

The device can be utilizedasa motor controller.
Fig.1 representsa bidirectional DC motor control
suitablefor logic driving.In these kindsof applica-
tionitis possibleto take advantageof the high
current capabilityof the L2750 for driving several
typesof low impedance motorsina broad range applications.Moreover the low drop allows high
startup currents evenat lowest supply voltage.
Audio Applications

Another typical utilizationof the L2750 concerns
the audio field,as follows: DRIVER FOR BOOSTER: The remarkably low
distortionand noise makes the deviceproperto usedas high quality driver for main amplifi-
ers (i.e. car radio boosters). An exampleis
shownby Fig.5, where the gainis setto24dB
(see also the relevant characteristics). CAR RADIO BOOSTER WITH DIFFERENTIAL
INPUT: Fig.10 showsan exampleof car radio
booster, witha gainof30 dB, thatis specially
recommendedfor active loudspeakers. Among
its main featureis the differential input and sub-
sequent high noise suppression. The typical
output power delivered intoa 4Ω loadis 24W
(VS= 14.4V;d =10%), asshownby the charac-
teristics enclosed.
