TheHCC4511B (extended temperature range)and
the HCF 4511B (intermediate temperature range)
are monolithic integrated circuits availablein 16-le- dual in-line plasticor ceramic package and pla-
stic micro package.
TheHCC/HCF 4511B types are BCD-to-7-segment
latch decoder drivers constructed with COS/MOS
logic and n-p-n bipolar transistor output deviceson single monolithic structure. These devices combi- thelow quiescent powerdissipation and high noi- immunity features of COS/MOS with n-p-n
bipolar output transistors capableof sourcingupto mA. This capability allows the HCC/HCF 4511B
typesto drive LED’s and other displays directly.
Lamp Test (LT), Blanking (BL), and Latch Enableor
Strobe inputs are providedto test the display, shut
offor intensity-modulateit, and storeor strobea
BCD code, respectively. Several different signal
may be multiplexed and displayed when external
multiplexing circuitryis used.
