General Description
The DS1649/DS3649 and DS1679/DS3679 are Hex
TRI-STATE MOS drivers with outputs designedto drive
large capacitive loadsupto 500pF associated with MOS
memory systems. PNP input transistorsare employedtore-
duce input currents allowingthe large fan-outto these driv-
ers neededin memory systems. The circuithas Schottky-
clamped transistor logicfor minimum propagation delay,
and TRI-STATE outputsforbus operation.
The DS1649/DS3649hasa 15X resistorin series withthe
outputsto dampen transients causedbythe fast-switching
TRI-STATEÉ isaregistered trademarkof National SemiconductorCorp.
