TRI-STATE® Dual Receiver
General DescriptionThe DS16033isa dual differential TRI-STATEline receiver
designedfora broad rangeof system applications.It fea-
tures ahigh inputimpedanceandlow input current whichre-
ducesthe loading effectsona digital transmission line, mak-
ingit idealforusein partyline systemsand general purpose
applicationslike transducer preamplifiers, level translators
and comparators.
The receivers featurea ±25mV input sensitivity specified
overa ±3V common mode range. Input protection diodes
are incorporatedin series withthe collectorsofthe differen-
tial stage. These diodesare usefulin applicationsthat have
multiple VCC+ suppliesor VCC+ suppliesthatare turnedoff
thus avoiding signal clamping.In addition, TTL compatible
strobeand control linesare providefor flexibilityinthe appli-
cation.
The DS1603 ispincompatiblewiththe DS75107 duallinere-
ceiver.
