General Description
The ADC0833 seriesisan 8-bit successive approximation
A/D converterwitha serialI/Oand configurableinputmulti-
plexer with4 channels.The serialI/Ois configuredto com-
plywiththe NSC MICROWIRETM serial data exchange stan-
dardfor easy interfacetothe COPSTM familyof processors, wellaswith standard shift registersor mPs.
The 4-channel multiplexeris software configuredfor single-
endedor differential inputs when channel assignedbya4-
bit serial word.
The differential analog voltage input allows increasingthe
common-mode rejection and offsettingthe analog zeroin-
put voltage value.In addition,the voltage reference input
canbe adjustedto allow encodingany smaller analog volt-
age spantothefull8bitsof resolution.
