General Description
The ’FR900isa databus multiplexer routinganyof three9-
bit portstoany other oneofthe three ports. Readbackof
data latched fromany port onto itselfis also possible.The
’FR900 maintains separate controlofall latch-enable,out-
put enableand select inputsfor maximum flexibility. PINV
allows inversionofthe data fromtheC8toA8orB8 path.
Thisis usefulfor controlofthe paritybitin systems diagnos-
tics.
National’s 74FR25900 includes 25X resistorsin serieswith
portA andB outputs. Resistors minimize undershootand
ringing whichmay damageor corrupt sensitive device inputs
drivenby these ports.
