DESCRIPTION

The 74AHC/AHCT139 are high-speed Si-gate CMOS
devices and are pin compatible with low power Schottky
TTL (LSTTL). They are specified in compliance with
JEDEC standard no. 7A.
The 74AHC/AHCT139 are high-speed, dual 2-to-4 line
decoder/demultiplexers.
This device has two independent decoders, each
accepting two binary weighted inputs (nA0 and nA1) and
providing four mutually exclusive active LOW outputs
(nY0to nY3). Each decoder has an active LOW enable
input (nE). WhennEis HIGH, every outputis forced HIGH.
The enable input canbe usedas the data inputfora 1-to-4
demultiplexer application.
The ‘139’ is identical to the HEF4556 of the HE4000B
family.

CPD is used to determine the dynamic power dissipation (PDin μW). =CPD× VCC2×fi+∑ (CL× VCC2×fo) where:= input frequency in MHz;= output frequency in MHz; (CL× VCC2×fo)= sum of outputs;= output load capacitance in pF;
VCC= supply voltage in Volts. The condition is VI= GNDto VCC.

Notes
The input and output voltage ratings may be exceeded if the input and output current ratings are observed. For SO package: above 70 °C the value of PD derates linearly with 8 mW/K.
For TSSOP package: above 60 °C the value of PD derates linearly with 5.5 mW/K.
