DescriptionThe TPS61183 device providesa highly integrated
white-LED (WLED) driver solution for notebook LCD
backlights. This device hasa built-in high-efficiency
boost regulator with integrated 2-A, 40-V power
MOSFET. The six current sink regulators provide
high-precision current regulation and matching. The
device can supporta totalof upto 60 WLEDs.In
addition, the boost output automatically
voltageto the WLED forward
efficiency.
The TPS61183 supports programmable
brightness dimming method. configuration, the
dimming duty cycleof theis controlled the input PWM signal frequency fixed and set by an external During direct
PWM dimming, the WLED completely
synchronized with the input duty cycle
and frequency.
