Ports Differential Nonlinearity Monotonic Over TemperatureThe TLV5636isa 12-bit voltage output DAC witha flexible 4-wire serial interface. The serial interface allows
glueless interfaceto TMS320 and SPI™, QSPI™, and Microwire™ serial ports.Itis programmed witha 16-bit
serial string containing4 control and12 data bits.
The resistor string output voltageis buffered bya x2 gain rail-to-rail output buffer. The programmable settling
timeof the DAC allows the designerto optimize speed vs power dissipation. With its on-chip programmable
precision voltage reference, the TLV5636 simplifies overall system design.
Becauseofits abilityto source upto1 mA, the reference can alsobe usedasa system reference. Implemented
witha CMOS process, the deviceis designed for single supply operation from 2.7Vto 5.5V.Itis availableinan
8-pin SOIC and 8-pin MSOP packageto reduce board spacein standard commercial and industrial temperature
ranges
