canbeswitchedoffviathedisableinput,whichcausesthecurrentconsumptiontodrop180←Atypical.
TwoadditionalfeaturesoftheTLE4470areanearlywarningcomparator(canbeused
e.g.tomonitorthesupplyvoltageVI)andresetgeneratorwithanadjustableresetdelay
time.TheTLE4470G(P-DSO-20-6package)hasinadditionanadjustablereset
switchingthreshold.Thisfeatureisusefulwithmicroprocessorswhichguaranteeasafe
operationdowntovoltagesbelowtheinternallysetresetthresholdof4.65Vtypical.
Twofunctionsareincludedintheresetgenerator,apower-on-resetandan
under-voltagereset.Thepower-on-resetfeatureisnecessaryforadefinedstartofthe
microprocessorwhenswitchingontheapplication.Theresetsignaliskeptlowfora
certaindelaytimeaftertheoutputvoltageVQ1oftheregulatorhassurpassedthereset
threshold.Anexternaldelaycapacitorsetsthisdelaytime.Theundervoltagereset
circuitsupervisesthestand-byoutputvoltage.IncaseVQ1fallsbelowtheresetswitching
thresholdtheresetoutputissetLOWafterashortreactiontime.TheresetLOWsignalgenerateddowntoanoutputvoltageVQ1of1V.
