These bipolar phase control Cs require, for most applications, only a minimum number of
external components. Typical applications are motor control, brightness control, temperature
control, COST optimization for squirrel-cage motors, and starting current limitation.
Thanks to their high efficiency, the TLE 310xle are particularly suitable for consumer goods,
such as kitchen appliances and washing machines, vacuum cleaners, electric irons and
hobbyist appliances.
A special feature is the soft start which requires only straightforward wiring, and is e.g.
used in portable drills for center punching.
