MOUNTING INSTRUCTIONS

The power dissipatedin the circuit must be re-
movedby addingan external heatsink.
Thanksto the HEPTAWATTTM package attaching
the heatsinkis very simple,a screwora compres-
sion spring (clip) being sufficient.
Between the heatsink and the packageitis better inserta layerof silicon grease,to optimize the
thermal contact; no electrical isolationis needed
between the two surfaces, since the tabis con-
nectedto Pin4 whichis ground.
