DescriptionThe TCA8418 is a keypad scan device with
integrated ESD protection.It can operate from 1.65V 3.6V and has 18 general purpose inputs/outputs
(GPIO) that canbe usedto support upto 80 keys via
theI2C interface.
The key controller debounces inputs and maintainsa byte FIFOof key-press and release events which
can storeupto10 keys with overflow wrap capability. interrupt (INT) output can be configuredto alert
key presses and releases eitheras they occur,orat
maximum rate.
