DESCRIPTIONThe STLVDS104isa differentialline receiver and LVTTL input connectedto four differential line
drivers that implement the electrical
characteristicsoflow voltage differential signaling,
for pointto point baseband data transmission over
controlled impedance mediaof approximately
100Ω. The transmission media can be
printed-circuit board traces, backplanes,or cable.
LVDS,as specifiedin EIA/TIA-644isa data
signaling technique that offers low-power, low
noise coupling, and switching speedto transmit
dataata speedupto 630Mbpsat relatively long
distances.
The drivers integrated into the same substrate,
along with the low pulse skewof balanced
signaling, allow extremely precise timing
alignmentofthe signals repeated fromthe input.
