The 20 flip-flops of the SN74ALVCH16721 are
edge-triggered flip-flops with qualified clock
storage. On the transitionof the clock (CLK)
input, the device true dataat theQ outputsif
the clock-enable inputis low.If CLKENis
high,no datais buffered output-enable (OE) input places the 20
outputsin either normal logic state (highor low)or
the high-impedance state. In the high-impedance
state, the outputs load nor drive the bus lines
significantly. The state and increased
drive provide theto drive bus lines without
need for interface pullup components. OE does not
affect the internal operationof the flip-flops. Old data
canbe retained new data canbe entered while the
outputs arein the state.
