Data flow from A to Y is controlled by the
output-enable (OE) input. The device operatesin the
transparent mode the latch-enable (LE) inputis
low. When LE theA datais latchedif the
clock (CLK) input heldata highor low logic level.Ifis high, theAis storedin the latch/flip-flopon
the low-to-highof CLK. When OEis high,
the outputs are high-impedance state.
The outputs, which are designedto sinkupto12 mA, include equivalent 26-Ω resistorsto reduce overshoot and
undershoot. ensure the high-impedance state during power upor power down, OE should be tiedto VCC througha pullup
resistor; the minimum valueof the resistoris determinedby current-sinking capabilityof the driver.
