Auto-Track simplifies the sequencingof supply voltagesin power systems by enabling modulesto track each
other,or any other external voltage, during power up and power down.
Although smallin size (0.87 inches× 0.5 inches), these modules are rated for upto6Aof output current, and
are an ideal choicein applications where space, performance, anda power-up sequencing capability are
important attributes.
The series operates from an input voltageof 12-Vto provide step-down conversiontoa wide rangeof output
voltages. The output voltageof the W-suffix device may setto any voltage over the adjust range, 1.2Vto 5.5V.
The L-suffix device has an adjustment rangeof 0.8Vto 1.8V. The output voltageis set within the adjustment
range usinga single external resistor.
Other operating features includean on/off inhibit, output voltage adjust (trim), and output overcurrent protection.
For high efficiency, these parts employa synchronous rectifier output stage.
Target applications include telecom, industrial, and general purpose circuits, including low-power dual-voltage
systems that use the TMS320™ DSP family, microprocessor, ASIC,or FPGA.
