General Description
The PC87338VLJ/PC87338VJGisa single chip solutionto
the most commonly used ISA, EISAand Micro Channelpe-
ripherals.It incorporatesinone chip,a Floppy Disk Control-
ler (FDC),twofull function UARTs, Universal-Infrared sup-
port (HP-SIR, Sharp-IR,TV Remoteand Infrared Data Asso-
ciation (IrDA)),afull IEEE 1284 parallel port,two general
purpose chip select signals that canbe programmedfor
gameport control,anda configuration registerset.In addi-
tion, supportfor powermanagement andfor mixed 3.3Vand operation makesthis chip particularly suitablefor note-
bookand sub-notebook applications.
