Description and Introduction

Single-Supply, MicroPOWER OPERATIONAL AMPLIFIERS The OPA2241 is a precision operational amplifier (op-amp) designed for high-performance applications requiring low noise, low offset voltage, and excellent DC precision. This dual-channel op-amp features a wide supply voltage range, making it suitable for both single-supply and dual-supply configurations, typically operating from ±2.25V to ±18V.

With an ultra-low input offset voltage of 25µV (max) and low drift over temperature, the OPA2241 ensures accurate signal conditioning in sensitive measurement systems. Its low noise density of 8nV/√Hz at 1kHz enhances performance in audio, medical instrumentation, and data acquisition applications. The device also offers a high open-loop gain and a unity-gain stable architecture, ensuring stability across various feedback configurations.

The OPA2241 is available in industry-standard packages, including SOIC and MSOP, providing flexibility for space-constrained designs. Its robust design includes EMI-hardened inputs, reducing susceptibility to interference in noisy environments.

Engineers favor the OPA2241 for its combination of precision, versatility, and reliability, making it an ideal choice for industrial control systems, test equipment, and high-end analog signal processing. Its balanced performance across key parameters ensures consistent operation in demanding applications.
