DescriptionThe OPA211 series of precision operational
amplifiers achieves very low 1.1-nV/√Hz noise density
witha supply currentof only 3.6 mA. This series also
offers rail-to-rail output swing, which maximizes
dynamic range.
The extremely low voltage and low current noise,
high-speed, and wide output swingof the OPA211
series make these devices an excellent choice asa
loop filter amplifierin PLL applications. precision data acquisition applications, the
OPA211 series of operational amplifiers provides
700-ns settling timeto 16-bit accuracy throughout 10- output swings. Thisac performance, combined with
only 125 μVof offset and 0.35 μV/°Cof drift over
temperature, makes the OPA211 ideal for driving
high-precision 16-bit analog-to-digital converters
(ADCs) or buffering the output of high-resolution
digital-to-analog converters (DACs).
The OPA211 seriesis specified overa wide dual-
power supply rangeof ±2.25to ±18V,or for single-
supply operation from 4.5to36V.
The OPA211is availablein the small SON-8(3 mm× mm), VSSOP-8, and SOIC-8 packages.A dual
version, the OPA2211,is availablein the SON-8(3×3 mm)oran SO-8 PowerPAD™ package. This
seriesof operational amplifiersis specified fromTA=
