General Description
The NM95MS14isthe smallerofa familyof devicesde-
signedto provide complete Plug’n Play CapabilityforISA
bus systems.The NM95MS14 includesthe necessary state
machine logicto managethe Plug’n Play protocolin addi-
tionto switchesfor steering Interruptand DMA requests.It
also featuresa built-in2kbitsof serial EEPROMfor storing
the resource data specifiedinthe Plug’n Play Standard.In
addition,4kbitsof EEPROMis availableforusebyotheron-
board logic. This device providesa ‘‘truly complete’’ single-
chip solutionfor implementing Plug’n Playon ISA-Bus
Adapter cards.The NM95MS14 supportsone logical device
witha flexible choiceof DMA/IRQ selectionandI/O Chip-
select generation.
NM95MS14is implemented using National’s Advanced
CMOS process and operates single power supply. The
NM95MS14is availableina 48-pin TQFP package.
