DESCRIPTIONThe Texas Instruments MSP430™ familyof ultra-low-power microcontrollers consistof several devices featuring
different setsof peripherals targeted for various applications. The architecture, combined with five low-power
modesis optimizedto achieve extended battery lifein portable measurement applications. The device featuresa
powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that contributeto maximum code efficiency.
The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows wake-up from low-power modesto active modein less than1µs.
The MSP430G2x32 and MSP430G2x02 series of microcontrollers are ultra-low-power mixed signal 16-bit timers, and up to 16 I/O capacitive-touch enabled pins and built-in using universal serial communication interface.
