DESCRIPTIONThe Texas Instruments MSP430™ familyof ultralow-power microcontrollers consistsof several devices featuring
different setsof peripherals targeted for various applications. The architecture, combined with five low-power
modes,is optimizedto achieve extended battery lifein portable measurement applications. The device featuresa
powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that contributeto maximum code efficiency.
The digitally controlled oscillator (DCO) allows wake-up from low-power modesto active modein less than1µs.
The MSP430G2x01 and MSP430G2x11 seriesis an ultralow-power mixed signal microcontroller witha built-in
16-bit timer and ten I/O pins. The MSP430G2x11 family members havea versatile analog comparator. For
