The LMR12010 regulator isa monolithic, high

frequency, PWM step-down DC/DC converterina6- pin Thin SOT-23 package.It providesall the active functionsto provide local DC/DC conversion with fast
transient response and accurate regulation in the smallest possible PCB area.
Witha minimumof external components and online
design support through WEBENCH, the LMR12010is easyto use. The abilityto drive 1A loads with an internal 300mΩ NMOS switch using state-of-the-art 0.5µm BiCMOS technology resultsin the best power
density available. The world class control circuitry allows for on-times as low as 13ns, thus supporting exceptionally high frequency conversion over the entire 3Vto 20V input operating range downto the
minimum output voltageof 0.8V. Switching frequency internally setto 1.6 MHz (LMR12010X)or3 MHz
(LMR12010Y), allowing the useof extremely small• Point-of-Load Conversions from 3.3V, 5V, and surface mount inductors and chip capacitors. Even12V Rails though the operating frequencies are very high, Space Constrained Applications efficiencies upto 90% are easyto achieve. External
shutdownis included, featuring an ultra-low stand-by• Battery Powered Equipment currentof 30nA. The LMR12010 utilizes current-mode• Industrial Distributed Power Applications control and internal compensationto provide high- Power Meters performance regulation over a wide range of
operating conditions. Additional features include• Portable Hand-Held Instruments internal soft-start circuitryto reduce inrush current,
