General DescriptionThe LMP™8270, LMP8275are fixed gain differential ampli-
fiers witha -2Vto 27V input common mode voltage range
anda supply voltage rangeof 4.5Vto 5.5V. The LMP8270,
LMP8275 are precision amplifiers whichwill detect, amplify
and filter small differential signalsin the presenceof high
common mode voltages. The gainis fixedat20 andis
adequateto drivean ADCtofull scalein most cases. The
LMP8270, LMP8275 havea preamplifier witha fixed gainof andan amplifier witha fixed gainof2, achieving overall
fixed gainof20. The internal signal path between these two
stagesis broughtouton two pins,A1 and A2, which provide connectionfora filter network.
The LMP8270, LMP8275will function with reduced specifi-
cations over the extended common mode input voltage
rangeof-5to36 Volts. This feature makes the device
suitablefor applications with load dumpin automotive sys-
tems.
