General DescriptionThe LMC7215/LMC7225 are ultra low power comparators
witha maximumof1μA power supply current. They are de-
signedto operate overa wide rangeof supply voltages, fromto 8V.
The LMC7215/LMC7225 havea greater than rail-to-rail com-
mon mode voltage range. Thisisa real advantagein single
supply applications.
The LMC7215 featuresa push-pull output stage. This fea-
ture allows operation with absolute minimum amountof
power consumption when driving any load.
The LMC7225 featuresan open drain output.By connecting external resistor, the outputof the comparator canbe
usedasa level shifterto any desired voltagetoas highas
15V.
The LMC7215/LMC7225 are designedfor systems where
low power consumptionis the critical parameter.
Guaranteed operation over thefull supply voltage rangeof
2.7Vto5V and rail-to-rail performance makes this compara-
tor idealfor battery-powered applications.
