General DescriptionThe LMC6582/4isa high performance operational amplifier
whichcan operate overa wide rangeof supply voltageswith
guaranteed specificationsat 1.8V, 2.2V,3V,5V,and 10V.
The LMC6582/4 providesan input common-mode voltage
range that exceeds both supplies. The rail-to-rail output
swingofthe amplifier assures maximum dynamic signal
range. This rail-to-rail performanceofthe amplifier, com-
bined withits high open-loop voltage gain makesit unique
among rail-to-rail CMOS amplifiers. The LMC6582/4isan
excellent choicefor circuits wherethe input common-mode
voltage rangeisa concern.
The LMC6582/4has been designed specificallyto improve
systemperformance inlowvoltage applications. Guaranteed
operation downto 1.8V meansthatthis familyof amplifiers
can operateattheendof discharge (EOD) voltagesof sev-
eral popular batteries.The amplifier’s80 fAinput current,0.5 offset voltage, and82dB CMRR maintain accuracyin
battery-powered systems.
