General DescriptionThe LM9811isa high performance integrated signal
processor/digitizerfor linear CCD image scanners. The
LM9811 performsall the analog processing (correlated
double samplingfor black level and offset compensation,
pixel-by-pixel gain (shading) correction, and 10-bit
analog-to-digital conversion) necessaryto maximizetheper-
formanceofa wide rangeof linear CCD sensors.
The LM9811 canbe digitally programmedto work witha
wide varietyof CCDs from different manufacturers.An inter-
nal configuration register sets CCD and sampling timingto
maximize performance, simplifyingthe designand manufac-
turing processes.
The LM9811canbe usedwith parallel output color CCDs.A
signal inversion mode eases use with CIS sensors.For
complementary voltage referenceseethe LM4041.
