General Description
The LM723isa voltage regulator designed primarily for
series regulator applications.By itself,it will supply output
currentsupto 150 mA;but external transistors canbe added provide any desired load current. The circuit features
extremely low standby current drain, and provisionis made
for either linearor foldback current limiting.
The LM723is also usefulina wide rangeof other applica-
tions suchasa shunt regulator,a current regulatorora
temperature controller.
