General DescriptionThe LM6584isa low power, high voltage, rail-to-rail input-
output amplifier ideally suitedfor LCD panel VCOM driver and
gamma buffer applications. The LM6584 contains four unity
gain stable amplifiersin one package.It providesa common
mode input abilityof 0.5V beyondthe supply rails,as wellas output voltage range that extendsto within 50mVof either
supply rail. With these capabilities, the LM6584 provides
maximum dynamic rangeat any supply voltage. Operating supplies ranging from5Vto 13V, while consuming only
750µAper amplifier,the LM6584 hasa bandwidthof 24MHz
(−3dB).
The LM6584 also features fast slewing and settling times,
along witha high continuous output capabilityof 75mA. This
output stageis capableof delivering approximately 310mA
peak currentsin orderto chargeor discharge capacitive
loads. These features are idealfor usein TFT-LCDs.
The LM6584is availableinthe industry standard 14-pin SO
package andin the space-saving 14-pin TSSOP package.
The amplifiersare specifiedfor operation overthefull −40˚C +85˚C temperature range.
