General DescriptionThe LM4911isan stereo audio power amplifier capableof
delivering 40mW per channelof continuous average power
intoa 16Ω loador 25mW per channel intoa 32Ω loadat 1%
THD+N froma3V power supply.
Boomer audio power amplifiers were designed specificallyto
provide high quality output power witha minimal amountof
external components. Since the LM4911 does not require
bootstrap capacitorsor snubber networks,itis optimally
suited for low-power portable systems.In addition, the
LM4911 maybe configuredfor either single-ended capaci-
tively coupled outputsorfor OCL outputs (patent pending).
The LM4911 featuresa low-power consumption shutdown
mode anda power mute mode that allowsfor faster turnon
time with less than 1mV voltage changeat outputsonre-
lease. Additionally, the LM4911 featuresan internal thermal
shutdown protection mechanism.
The LM4911is unity gain stable and maybe configured with
external gain-setting resistors.
