General DescriptionThe LM4859isan integrated audio sub-system designedfor
stereo cell phone applications. Operatingona 3.3V supply,it
combinesa stereo speaker amplifier delivering 495mW per
channel intoan 8Ω load anda stereo headphone amplifier
delivering 33mW per channel intoa 32Ω load.It integrates
the audio amplifiers, volume control, mixer, power manage-
ment control, and National3D enhancementall intoa single
package.In addition, the LM4859 routes and mixes the
stereo and mono inputs into10 distinct output modes. The
LM4859is controlled throughanI2C compatible interface.
Other features includean ultra-low current shutdown mode
and thermal shutdown protection.
Boomer audio power amplifiers are designed specificallyto
provide high quality output power witha minimal amountof
external components.
The LM4859is availableina 28–lead LLP package.
