General Description
The LM45 seriesare precision integrated-circuit temperature
sensors, whose output voltageis linearly proportionalto the
Celsius (Centigrade) temperature. The LM45 does notre-
quire any external calibrationor trimmingto provide accura-
ciesof ±2˚Cat room temperature and ±3˚C overa full−20to
+100˚C temperature range. Low costis assuredby trimming
and calibrationatthe wafer level. The LM45’s low outputim-
pedance, linear output, and precise inherent calibration
make interfacingto readoutor control circuitry especially
easy.It canbe used witha single power supply,or with plus
and minus supplies.Asit draws only 120μA fromits supply, has very low self-heating, less than 0.2˚Cin stillair. The
LM45is ratedto operate overa −20˚to +100˚C temperature
range.
