General DescriptionThe LM148seriesisatrue quad 741.It consistsoffour inde-
pendent, high gain, internally compensated,low powerop-
erational amplifiers which have been designedto provide
functional characteristics identicalto thoseofthe familiar
741 operational amplifier.In additionthe total supply current
forallfour amplifiersis comparable tothe supply currentofa
single741 typeop amp. Other features include input offset
currentsand input bias current whichare much less than
thoseofa standard 741. Also, excellent isolation between
amplifiershas been achievedby independently biasing each
amplifierand using layout techniques which minimize ther-
mal coupling. The LM149 serieshasthe same featuresas
the LM148 plusa gain bandwidthproductof4 MHzata gain5or greater.
The LM148canbe used anywhere multiple741or 1558 type
amplifiersare being usedand inapplications where amplifier
matchingor high packing densityis required.
