General Description
The LM3361A containsa complete narrow bandFMde-
modulation system operableto less than2V supply voltage.
Blocks withinthe device includean oscillator, mixer,FMIF
limiting amplifier,FM demodulator,op amp, scan control,
and mute switch. The LM3361Ais similartothe MC3361
withthe following improvements:the LM3361Ahas higher
voltage swing bothattheop ampand audio outputs.It also
has lower nominal drain current anda squelch circuitthat
draws significantly less current thanthe MC3361. Device
pinout functionsare identical withsomeslightly differentop-
erating characteristics.
