General Description
The LM136-2.5/LM236-2.5 and LM336-2.5 integratedcir-
cuitsare precision 2.5V shunt regulator diodes. These
monolithicIC voltage references operateasa low-tempera-
ture-coefficient2.5Vzenerwith 0.2X dynamic impedance.A
third terminalonthe LM136-2.5 allowsthe reference volt-
ageand temperature coefficienttobe trimmed easily.
The LM136-2.5 seriesis usefulasa precision 2.5Vlow volt-
age referencefor digital voltmeters, power suppliesorop
amp circuitry.The 2.5V makeit convenientto obtainasta-
ble reference from5V logic supplies. Further, sincethe
LM136-2.5 operatesasa shunt regulator,itcanbe usedas
eithera positiveor negative voltage reference.
The LM136-2.5is ratedfor operation over b55§Cto
