Low Power Low Offset Voltage Dual Comparators
General DescriptionThe LM2903EP consistsof two independent precision volt-
age comparators withan offset voltage specificationas low 2.0 mV maxfor two comparators which were designed
specificallyto operate froma single power supply overa
wide rangeof voltages. Operation from split power supplies also possible and the low power supply current drainis
independentof the magnitudeofthe power supply voltage.
This comparator also hasa unique characteristicin that the
input common-mode voltage range includes ground, even
though operated froma single power supply voltage.
Application areas include limit comparators, simple analogto
digital converters; pulse, squarewave and time delay gen-
erators; wide range VCO; MOS clock timers; multivibrators
and high voltage digital logic gates. The LM2903EP was
designedto directly interface with TTL and CMOS. When
operated from both plus and minus power supplies, the
LM2903EPwill directly interface with MOS logic where their
low power drainisa distinct advantage over standard com-
parators.
