General DescriptionThe LM2716is composedof two PWM DC/DC converters.A
buck (step-down) converteris usedto generatea fixed out-
put voltage.A boost (step-up) converteris usedto generate adjustable output voltage. Both converters feature low
RDSON (0.16Ω and 0.12Ω) internal switchesfor maximum
efficiency. Operating frequency canbe adjusted anywhere
between 300kHz and 600kHz allowing the useof small
external components. External soft-start pinsfor each en-
ables the userto tailor the soft-start timestoa specific
application. Each converter may alsobe shut down indepen-
dently withits own shutdown pin. The LM2716is availablein low profile 24-lead TSSOP package.
