1.4A, 0.17Ω internal switch. Capableof generating 8Vat
300mA froma Lithium Ion battery, the LM2710is idealfor
generating bias voltagesfor large screen LCD panels. The
LM2710 canbe operatedat switching frequenciesof 600kHz 1.25MHz, allowingfor easy filtering and low noise.An
external compensationpin givesthe user flexibilityin setting
frequency compensation, which makes possible the useof
small, low ESR ceramic capacitorsat the output. The
LM2710 usesa patented internal circuitryto limit startup
inrush currentof the boost switching regulator without the
useofan external softstart capacitor.An external softstart
pin enables the userto tailor the softstarttoa specific
application. The LM2710 containsa Vcom buffer and4
Gamma buffers capableof supplying 50mA source and sink.
