Low Power Low Offset Voltage Quad Comparators
General Description
The LM139 series consistsof four independent precision
voltage comparators withan offset voltage specificationas
lowas2mV maxforall four comparators. These werede-
signed specificallyto operate froma single power supply
overa wide rangeof voltages. Operation from split power
suppliesis also possibleandthelow power supply current
drainis independentofthe magnitudeofthe power supply
voltage. These comparators also havea unique characteris-
ticinthatthe input common-mode voltage range includes
ground, even though operated froma single power supply
voltage.
Application areas include limit comparators, simple analog digital converters; pulse, squarewaveand time delaygen-
erators; wide range VCO; MOS clock timers; multivibrators
and high voltage digital logic gates. The LM139 serieswas
designedto directly interface with TTL and CMOS. When
operated from both plusand minus power supplies, theywill
directly interface with MOS logicÐ wherethelow power
drainofthe LM339isa distinct advantage over standard
comparators.
