General Description
The LM1875isa monolithic power amplifier offering very
low distortion and high quality performancefor consumer
audio applications.
The LM1875 delivers20 wattsintoa4Xor8X loadon
g25V supplies. Usingan8X loadand g30V supplies, over wattsof power maybe delivered. The amplifierisde-
signedto operate witha minimumof external components.
Device overload protection consistsof both internal current
limitand thermal shutdown.
The LM1875 design takes advantageof advanced circuit
techniquesand processingto achieve extremelylow distor-
tionlevels evenat high output power levels. Other outstand-
ing features include high gain, fast slew rate anda wide
power bandwidth, large output voltage swing, high current
capability, anda very wide supply range. The amplifieris
internally compensatedand stablefor gainsof10or great-
er.
