General Description

The LM13700 series consistsof two current controlled
transconductance amplifiers, each with differential inputs
anda push-pull output. The two amplifiers share common
supplies but otherwise operate independently. Linearizing
diodes are providedat the inputsto reduce distortion and
allow higher input levels. The resultisa10dB signal-to-
noise improvement referencedto 0.5 percent THD. High
impedance buffers are provided which are especially de-
signedto complement the dynamic rangeofthe amplifiers.
The output buffersofthe LM13700 differ from thoseof the
LM13600in that their input bias currents (and hence their
outputDC levels)are independentof IABC. This may resultin
performance superiorto thatofthe LM13600in audio appli-
cations.
