General DescriptionThe LM1246 pre-ampisan integrated CMOS CRT preamp. hasanI2C compatible interface which allows controlofall
the parameters necessaryto directly setup and adjust the
gain and contrastin the CRT display. Brightness and bias
canbe controlled through the DAC outputs, which are well
matchedtothe LM2479 and LM2480 integrated bias clamp
ICs. The LM1246 preampis also designedtobe compatible
withthe LM246x high gain driver family.
Black level clampingofthe video signalis carriedout directly the AC coupled input signal into the high impedance
preamplifier input, thus eliminating the needfor additional
clamp capacitors. Horizontal and vertical blankingof the
outputsis provided. Vertical blankingis optional andits
durationis register programmable.
